DESCRIPTION
Center for Human Rights Studies, University of Surabaya (Ubaya PUSHAM) is a study centre under the Institute of Research and Community Service, University of Surabaya (Ubaya LPPM) that carries out researches, dissemination and advocacy on human rights in order to produce individuals who are able to honor, respect, and admire human rights, democracy and justice regardless to differences in sex, age, race, tribe, religion, social and economical status, physical ability, as well as political interest.
Activities: (1) research; (2) promotion and dissemination; (3) information provider through Documentation Centre and the website of PUSHAM (catalogue on-line); (4) advocacy; and (5) encouraging cooperation with government or non-government institutions, both national and international.
